SYNOPSIS

Before Rent, there was Tick, Tick... Boom!, an autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the composer of Rent. This heartfelt story follows Jon, a struggling composer, as he navigates personal sacrifices to achieve his Broadway dreams.

While Jon waits tables and writes, his girlfriend dreams of leaving the city, and his best friend thrives on Madison Avenue. Through it all, Jon clings to his vision of creating the great American musical.

Endearing and thought-provoking, Tick, Tick... Boom! celebrates the pursuit of dreams amidst life’s toughest challenges.
