Welcome to KLSD!
KLSD is the dance division of WISPA – Wisbech School of Performing Arts. WISPA is a unique offering where all of our students enjoy the opportunity to train and perform in a working theatre. In addition, our teaching practitioners include industry professionals and working actors.
We offer an exceptional environment for 2 to 18-year-olds where students immerse themselves in high-calibre training, whilst developing their talent and their passion for performance.
Our Dance classes follow a unique and inspiring programme. We offer a range of qualifications,
through the IDTA but having fun and building confidence is at the heart of what we do. Explore our diverse selection of classes below.
A fund to make the KLSD offer affordable and accessible to all was created in memorial to Emlyn Moment, you can apply for a bursary for all classes to cover up to 40% of the term fees. See the qualifying criteria and application process here.

Tap - Beginners
Tap - Grade 2
Mondays at 5:15pm - previous experience required, or beginners age 12+
Tap - Grade 4
Mondays at 6pm - previous experience required.
Tap - Inter
Mondays at 6:45pm - previous experience required
Prep Ballet
Tuesdays at 4:30pm - ideal for beginners from reception to 7yrs
Commercial
Tuesdays at 5:15pm, ages 7 - 14
Adult
Tuesdays at 7pm - suitable for age 16 +, mixed ability
Prep Ballet
Wednesdays at 4:30pm, ideal for beginners aged 6 - 8
Grade 2 Ballet
Wednesdays at 5:15pm - previous experience required, or beginners aged 12 +
Contemporary
Wednesdays at 6pm - previous experience required, or beginners age 11 +
Classical Award Ballet
Wednesdays at 6:45pm - previous experience required.
Baby Ballet
Thursdays at 4:30pm - preschool 2 - 4yrs
Primary Ballet
Thursdays at 5:15pm - previous experience required, or beginners age 8 - 11
Grade One Ballet
Thursdays at 6pm - please enquire about spaces in other classes
Tiny Street Jazz
Saturdays at 9:15am - ages 4 - 7 (up to year 2)
Primary Street Jazz
Saturdays at 10am - ages 7 - 11 (years 3 - 6)
Junior Street Jazz
Saturdays at 11am - ages 11 - 14 (years 7 - 9)
Senior Street Jazz
Saturdays at 12 noon - ages 14 + (years 10 +)
